4 People Visited from Twitter

diwant's picture

I posted an experiment on Twitter. I posted a is.gd link to a blog entry that would count the number of clickthroughs. I got 4. To give some context, I have 100+ people following my account. That is a conversion rate of 4% (4/100, in case you are following along on the math). This is around the converstion rate assumed for games. See, when a demo is released to 100 people, 1 or 2 people will buy. That is the closest parallel I can draw. Still, I am slightly disappointed by the lack of hordes.

However, I did receive a comment and the bounce rate was very low for these 4. So perhaps the quality of visitor from Twitter is better? Oh, and Nameless, your dog is two years and 3 months old. I can't reveal how I did that. It is not tricks. It is an "Illusion"!
